The projects are of different character, size and contents and our staff members have long experience of managing both large international projects with many partners and small short assignments with short timeframes. Funding and customer requirements determine what type of project the activities are conducted within. Our projects typically fall into one of these three categories:
Co-funded research projects - where industry and the government fund common project for research and development within specific areas of importance for society. Results from co-funded research projects are public and are published in our report series, and to some extent in scientific journals.
Appropriation-funded research projects - where our scientists propose research projects to public research funding agencies. The research in these projects is often conducted in cooperation with universities. All results are public and are often published in scientific journals.
Assignments - where our clients ask for specific services from us such as assessments, measurements, and analyses. Results from these projects are not public.
