Environmental policy and quality work

At present, IVL works with the following overall environmental goals:

• To reduce the environmental impact of staff travelling.
• To reduce the energy use in the premises.
• To handle waste and residue products in such a way that unnecessary environmental impact is avoided.
• To improve the client's environmental performance aiming at a sustainable development of the society.

By fulfilling the overall and detailed environmental goals, related to the important environmental aspects, the environmental impact of our activities is gradually reduced. The most important environmental impact relates to advices to clients, which has a close connection to the business concept: To provide the clients — and thus the society — with a solid scientific, decision-making foundation for an improved environment and an increasing growth, based on research and commissions.  

Correspondingly, the quality tasks are governed by a quality policy together with the overall and detailed quality goals. The overall quality goals are presently as follows:

• To provide services of high quality based on good support and agreed stipulations.
• To avoid to overdraw the project budgets.
• To remain a well-reputed, internationally established institute.

Certificate No 174 054 was issued by BVQI on the 29th of April 2002.
Certificate No 7000001 was issued by BVQI on the 17th of December 2003.
